ABOUT

PULSE was founded by Michelle Partidas, a Montreal-based UX strategist with a background in experimental research and product systems design.

Michelle’s interest in user experience began with a deeper curiosity: why some digital products feel effortless while others create hesitation. That curiosity evolved into formal study, culminating in a Master’s degree in User Experience, where she conducted experimental research on perception and usability in mobile augmented reality environments.

Over time, what began as academic exploration evolved into structured consulting practice.Through PULSE, Michelle partners with product teams across emerging technologies, marketplaces, subscription platforms, and institutional systems. Her work focuses on reducing friction, validating assumptions, and designing scalable workflows grounded in behavioral insight rather than surface trends.

Rooted in research and systems thinking, PULSE approaches UX as strategic risk mitigation before scale. Every engagement begins with clarity, defining the right questions, structuring the right evaluation, and aligning user experience with business direction.

PULSE continues to evolve as a research-driven advisory, helping ambitious teams build products that are intuitive not by accident, but by design.

The Process

Growth doesn’t fix broken foundations.

I believe product clarity should come before acceleration.
Research before assumption.
Structure before scale.

My work goes beyond interface polish.
It focuses on understanding behaviour, validating direction, and designing systems that can support real growth, not just launch momentum.

Because when clarity comes first, scale becomes sustainable.
